The Kindermuseum Creaviva is a national centre of competence for practical, experience-oriented and interactive art and art education founded upon the life and works of Paul Klee.

The Creaviva portfolio is aimed at all people from the age of 4 years, in particular, children and young adults, schools, people with disabilities, teams from all economic and administrative sectors, and adults.

Our aim is to invite all visitors to discover and develop their own inner creativity, and to use these experiences to better understand the products and statements of our cultural environment.

The spirit and purpose of all Creaviva offerings is to enable a new form of access to art, and in so doing, contribute to the ability to conceptualize and critique art and the world we live in.

Offerings of high specialist and didactic quality are available for visitors who have not found it easy to access art. The Creaviva actively endeavours to win over those newly interested in activities surrounding art.

Quality is assured through attestable occupational qualifications of the Creaviva staff, as well as periodical scrutiny and renewal of the Creaviva offering. The feedback acquired systematically from visitors, participants and professionals plays an imperative role in this process.

The Creaviva Children’s Museum is an independent but integrated component of the Zentrum Paul Klee. Through the cooperation with the Zentrum Paul Klee, the Creaviva proves its ability to act as a partner, while also cultivating and maintaining cooperation with external institutes.

The Creaviva business culture is to assert dignity and respect within the team, as well as with visitors, responsibility of the environment, care in dealing with the infrastructure and resources available for work and available activities.

The Creaviva Children’s Museum was thankfully made possible by the generous engagement of Prof. Dr. med. Maurice E. Müller and his daughter Janine Aebi-Müller.
