Fantasy meets Reality: The Italian philosopher and mathematician, Galileo Galilei, suspected long ago that everything was in motion. Today, we know this for a fact. Everything revolves around the fulfillment of human yearnings. Everything revolves around happiness.

In «The Pursuit of Happiness.» we were primarily concerned with the exhibition «Lullabies. The child in Klee» and one of the most beautiful emotions of humankind – happiness. For 20 weeks, the Creaviva Loft was transformed into a type of amusement park or fair where we could almost touch the inconceivable, small and fleeting happiness of this world by looking through peepholes, balancing on spinning plates or creating our own lucky charms.

The interactive exhibition was a trip into the colourful world of bliss and an homage to Babu Wälti.  We had the honour of displaying a handful of this incomparable Bernese tinkerer, inventor and magician of the soldering iron’s cheerful creations.

According to Alexander Mitscherlich „Happiness is when fantasy and reality meet“, so we met the pursuit of happiness like the ‘child in Klee’.
